Tori Starts to Spell Words On Her Own

Tori knows all her letters and sounds.  She is also beginning to words with short vowels.  We have been practicing writing her letters and drawing pictures of things that begin with the letter.  When we did "B" she drew a picture of her brother.  She also does a great job using her invented spelling to spell the words using the sounds she hears.

The Elf on the Shelf

We got a special gift this year...It's called Elf on the Shelf.  We read the story and named our family elf "Razzle Dazzle".  She has a very special job.  Each night Razzle Dazzle flies back to the North Pole and tells Santa how good our family has been to make sure we are on the "nice" list.  When Razzle Dazzle comes back each night, she lands in a different place and is often found doing fun things.  Here are some of the place Tori found Razzle Dazzle.
